Inclusion

Pupils behave well. For those pupils who sometimes find it difficult to manage their own behaviour, staff help them to develop useful and effective strategies. As a result, pupils quickly learn alternative, more appropriate, ways to cope when they are struggling with emotions.

At Bletchingley Village Primary, we are committed to providing an appropriate and high quality education to all our children. We believe that all children have a common entitlement to a broad and balanced academic and social curriculum, which is accessible to them, and to be fully included in all aspects of school life.

The school aims to foster the personal development of each child by helping them to be responsible, by building their self-esteem and being sensitive to their needs.

Bletchingley Village Primary School is committed to inclusion. We strive to maintain a caring school community where everyone feels welcome, secure and valued.  This does not mean that we will treat all learners in the same way, but that we will respond to learners in ways which take account of their varied life experiences and needs.
