Bletchingley Village Primary School  are their own admission authority for years 1 to 6.  To find up to date information about the school's admission arrangements and how to apply please see admissions document below.    Reception class places should be applied for through  the Surrey County Council website.

Please note that admission into the Nursery does not guarantee admission into the Reception Class - you need to follow the normal admissions procedures to secure a Reception place for the September following your child's fourth birthday.

Applications for admissions to Reception as well as secondary school are now done online, but we are always happy to help - just ask at the school office.

We attended an open day and loved being shown around by the pupils and the openness of the insights they provided about what it was like to attend the school. There was a friendly and family atmosphere, which really came across as we saw how the children interacted with each other. We valued being able to speak to the teachers and understand their approaches and views on encouraging a positive learning environment. We know our child will love the outdoor spaces and facilities at the school, which are excellent.

"Our child has been at BVPS for a year now and we could not be more pleased with our choice of school and with the amount of progress he has made. We chose Bletchingley, not for its location, but for the feel it gave us when we looked round. It has a really friendly atmosphere, loads of space and a great approach to teaching the children, especially the opportunity for lots of outdoor learning ..."

... Dougie has really settled in well at school, made great strides with his reading and from knowing no one, he now has a great group of friends and seems to be well liked. We’re so proud of him and that he has managed to achieve 100% attendance in his first year.

The teachers have been great and it’s been nice getting to know them and have the opportunity to come and see what they get up to during the school day.

We would definitely recommend BVPS to other families looking for a friendly, welcoming school with good standards.
