Autism
Autism is a lifelong spectrum condition which affects people in different ways and is caused by differences in the brain. People with Autism may have difficulties with social communication and interaction, repetitive and restrictive behaviour, under- or over-sensitivity to light, sound, taste or touch, highly focused interests, anxiety, meltdowns and shutdowns. Support for Parents
The National Autistic Society provide a wealth of support for parents of children with Autism.
- Stepping Up For Autism course

- Face to face or online meetings

Dyslexia
Dyslexia is a neurological difference which can have a significant impact during education and in everyday life. Dyslexia affects some people mildly and others severely, and it can co-occur with other specific learning difficulties. It usually runs in families and is a life-long condition. It can affect, for example, the ability to process and remember information, reading and writing skills, and organisational skills.
