WHAT OUR PUPILS SAY

Year One: "I really liked learning about and playing with the toys from the olden days." 

Year Two: "I liked learning about schools in the past. They had chalkboards and we have whiteboards now."

Year Three: "History is really fun! It tells us about the past. I find that interesting – especially the Stone Age and how humans evolved and learnt to hunt."

Year Four: "I like to learn about and compare our lives to people that lived in the past."

Year Five: "I like learning about things going back in time, like Henry VIII, and the lives of different people. We saw lots about him at Hampton Court."

Year Six: "I like learning about different periods in history, like WW2 and the Tudors. It has been interesting to find out how the war started and how people survived. It’s also been interesting to find out how things were built in the past."
